1. Coloring the Tree and Stick the Ornaments
Source: (c) SmellLikeHome.com
For quick play, I just print the blank tree, let Ariella color it while I print the ornaments. I cut them off and let her stick it with the glue. TADAAA! It helps to occupy her time for 30-45 minutes. Not bad :p

I love the idea to convert the art into Christmas cards or even in a frame! Let them do the finger-painting while we make the ‘cable’. I can’t want to try it!
5. Artsy Christmas Card

This post here is very inspiring. The point is to let the children draw or color anything they want, then we turn the art into the Christmas card like the above photo! We can creatively create another type of art we want, as the sky is the limit! 🙂
6. Christmas Tree Art

Draw the triangle as the Christmas tree, then let the children do their art using any sensory play, let’s say: glitter glue, marker, tape, water-colour, finger paint, or anything. Cut the triangle and fold it into half, and tadaaaa..there they are!
In the article, the writer also suggest great idea to cut it into half to play Christmas tree matching game 🙂

To create this genius Christmas tree, you’d just need:
- Colorful felt (in Indonesian: kain flanel),
- Chalk to draw the pattern,
- Scissors,
- Glue gun,
- Velcro (to stick it to the wall)
Instruction:
- Draw the tree using chalk on felt, then cut it.
- Use the velcro to attach it to the wall.
- Get creative to create the ornaments, use the scissors and glue gun.
- Let the children have fun.
- You can sit and sip the tea 🙂
According the writer from this blog, the felt sticks to the other felt so you won’t need to velcro to sticks the felt ornaments to the felt tree. I have not tried but if it’s right, then this tree would be super perfect!
